Our company, Beer Marketing, loves everything about beer and marketing. This includes insights, trends, interviews, jobs, branding, etc.

We are seeking an Editor-in-Chief. We want someone who is ready to take this website (and the words beer marketing) to the next level.
You will be responsible for updating our main site beermarketing.com with various pieces of content (up to 15 new pieces of news a day). You will be responsible for finding, creating and publishing everything related to beer marketing . You will curate everything on our website and be the main catapult into establishing our position in the marketplace.

Editorial : the more you can write from your own perspective, the better. We want you to have an opinion/voice.
You will use a variety of resources to produce 100+ pieces of media/news every week. You will be responsible for writing these pieces in a timely fashion, using appropriate photos and tagging every article (and creating accompanying SEO).
This job will require a high level of detail. It will likely take a lot of time in the beginning stages, but you will get more efficient. Within 6 months, you will be receiving stories to your inbox from various industry insiders and breweries wanting their story told.
Phase 2 – outreach, PR, interviews and social media. This will be an evolving role, and there will be an opportunity to manage a larger team as the success of the company develops. But in the beginning, you’ll need to wear quite a few hats. In Phase 2, we’ll need you to manage the brand, work on promotions/PR and monitor our social media.
Expectation is that you will be able to work for a few hours on a daily basis. The site becomes more relevant if its updated on a consistent basis.
While we hope for some level of experience, the reality is that the salary is more entry level. The position pas $1000-1500 per month with opportunity for growth as well as future equity. There are currently no benefits. But as we continue to grow the business, our expectation is that you will grow with us. We recognize that you will probably not be able to make a living off of this position in the beginning, and thus, our expectation is that you are working less than 40 hours a week in this role. But we feel like this could be a start, give some flexibility and allow you to work in an amazing industry.
Our expectation is that this role grows and evolves with the company.
